Known as the 'Unabomber,' Ted Kaczynski was convicted in 1997 of sending out sixteen package bombs which killed three people and injured twenty-nine others in a seventeen-year bombing campaign that lasted from 1978 to 1995. Kaczynski was finally arrested in April 1996, after being turned in by his brother, David Kaczynski.
