(Walt Disney Studios, 1942) Original production cel and gorgeous oil painting production background of Bambi and Faline from Bambi, signed and inscribed on the mat in green crayon, “To Claire, With My Best Wishes, Walt Disney,” with the encircled Walt Disney Productions “WDP” stamped above and the cel title to left side, “Bambi and Faline.” The cels, which depicts the two fawns during an early meeting, have been trimmed and applied to a stunning oil painting production background. The character images measure 3.5 x 3.75 (Bambi) and 4 x 5 (Faline), with a mat opening of 11 x 8.5. Matted to an overall size of 18.5 x 16. In fine condition, with some toning and spotting to mat.
