Yellow silk fabric swatch cut from a dress worn by Martha Washington, measuring 1 x 1, with a letter of provenance from noted autograph dealer Charles Hamilton, in part: "I certify that this small piece of silk, mounted on black paper, was cut from a dress of Martha Washington. Some years ago, I acquired the authentication for it, dated 1807, with some hair of Washington." In fine condition, with a small remnant of the black paper still attached.
