Letter to Meyer Weisgal, in full (translated): "Deep inside me I feel a spiritual need to express my cordial thanks for your lovely action concerning the celebration of my Jubilee. It was a very special exalted day for me and for my wife Vera, my deepest gratitude—for your enthusiastic devotion and for the preparation of the celebration." Includes a handwritten draft for a telegram signed at the conclusion, "Weizmann," which reads: "Eder Zioniburo, London, Arriving Marseille Mariette Pasha second November stop agree continuation work marketing board." Attached are two Palestinian post receipts, dated October 11, 1927. In overall very good to fine condition, with light staining to the letter. Accompanied by a transmittal letter from the Weizmann Archives, forwarding the TLS and telegram draft.
