Terrific group lot of 12 original Ramones passport photos from the collection of tour manager Monte A. Melnick, each approximately measuring 2 x 2, nine of which are in color. The lot includes the following punk rockers: Joey Ramone (2; reverse of one marked "Hyman"), Johnny Ramone (3; reverse of one marked "Cummings"), Dee Dee Ramone (3), Marky Ramone (2), and CJ Ramone (2; reverse of one marked "Ward"). Six of the photos feature faint passport stamps. Also included are passport photos for Dee Dee's wife Vera Boldis (2), Marky's wife Marion Flynn, Ramones artist and creative director Arturo Vega, and one other. Includes a "Passport Photos" booklet, with interior stamped as belonging to "Monte Melnick." In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Melnick. These photos were displayed as part of the “Hey! Ho! Let’s Go: Ramones and the Birth of Punk” exhibit at the Queens Museum in New York from April 10, 2016-July 31, 2016, and the Grammy Museum at L.A.
