Sought-after pair of special edition 'Book of the Dead' DVDs for the horror cult classics The Evil Dead and Evil Dead II, with an opening page of each booklet featuring a terrific original felt tip sketch by the film's special effects makeup artist and animator Tom Sullivan. The Evil Dead sketch features a floating skull with missing crown and mandible and is signed, "You bastards! Why are you torturing me like this? Why? Your favorite artist, Tom Sullivan." The Evil Dead II sketch features a variety of bulging eyes and is signed, "We’re gonna get you! Your idol, Tom Sullivan." Also included are three felt tip sketches by Sullivan on white 8 x 5 and 5 x 8 sheets, with images including: the grim-faced Necronomicon (“Read it and weep! Tom Sullivan”), a skull with broken crown (“Boo! Tom Sullivan”), and a soaring pterodactyl (“Tom Sullivan”). In overall fine condition.
