The Richard Nixon letter, dated January 12, 1973, in full: "Your kind message of birthday greetings helped to make January 9 an especially enjoyable day for me, and this note is just to thank you for your thoughtfulness and friendship." The Pat Nixon letter, dated September 12, 1972, in full: "What a pleasure it was to receive your warm and gracious letter! We want you to know how much we appreciate your kind expression of friendship, support and confidence." In overall fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the Pat Nixon letter.
