The legendary Joe DiMaggio was honored with the legendary Joe DiMaggio Albums, produced in 1991 with 'text' from prior newspaper and magazine articles that appeared throughout his life, plus hundreds, if not thousands, of photos.
The regular albums were red-covered classics, but offered here are the extremely scarce, and rarely seen Yankee navy blue leather-bound albums, a limited edition production of only 700 copies, primarily given to associated Yankees executives and friends. This two book set is handsomely bound and encased in a similar navy blue slipcase complete with the "NY" logo stitched on one side, and DiMaggio's number "5" stitched on the other.
This example is numbered 308/700, and is signed inside the first album in blue ballpoint, "Joe DiMaggio."
