Description

Unlikely artist: EINSTEIN sketches a pig in the year he won the Nobel Prize

Highly unusual vintage ink sketch of what appears to be a pig on an off-white 6.5 x 4 album page, nicely signed in full, “Albert Einstein, April 1921” (the year he won the Nobel Prize). Faint show-through from the signature of pianist Rudolph Ganz on the reverse, and a hint of subtle toning, otherwise fine condition. The first Einstein sketch we have ever seen offered anywhere, quite possible one-of-a-kind! Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
