Known as the band that set the blueprint for punk music, The Ramones’ influence on the genre can still be felt in today’s music landscape. In 2021, RR Auction had the pleasure of putting Johnny Ramone’s stage-used and owned Mosrite Ventures II guitar on the auction block. This 1965 model was used by the legendary guitarist for nearly 20 years from 1977-1996, playing the guitar at every Ramones performance until his retirement. Not only that, but this guitar was used in the recording of all 15 studio and live albums from this time period. This punk rock rarity went for a staggering $937,500 at auction.

An unprecedented, remarkable archive of 42 handwritten love letters from Dylan’s youth sold for an incredible $669,875 in November 2022. These love letters were written to Dylan’s high school sweetheart Barbara Ann Hewitt.
