Interesting collection of material related to Apollo 17, including: ten vintage unsigned official NASA press photos of various aspects of the mission, several red-numbered; transcripts of mission commentary; a McDonnell Douglas press packet entitled ‘Man’s Quest for Knowledge’; press releases dated December 15 and 16, 1972, as the mission neared its end; lengthy transcript of a press conference on Apollo lunar science from October 1972; an excerpt from the report on Apollo 17 geology; and press releases concerning the landing site, Lunar Surface Traverse Package, and Lunar Roving Vehicle. In overall very good to fine condition.
