American politician (1873–1944) who served as Governor of New York and who was the unsuccessful Democratic presidential candidate in 1928. Vintage matte-finish 7.75 x 10 head-and-shoulders photo, signed in fountain pen. In very good condition, with some adhesive residue under signature, scattered bends, creases, and toning, and paper remnants to reverse. RR Auction COA.
