Blumenfeld, who served as the editor of London’s Daily Express newspaper from 1902 to 1932, apparently responding to a request for an article. In part: “It can’t be done if the wife is well enough to think of going away next month and then literature will be ‘off.’ She’s getting better thank goodness. I do wish you’d put your deal through. It’s giving me chronic nervous frustration.” Subtle foxing and unobtrusive adhesive remnants to corners, otherwise fine condition.
