Vintage original 6 x 10 handbill for the Four Tops at Colston Hall, Bristol, on October 1, 1970, signed on the reverse in blue ballpoint by Eric Clapton, Bobby Whitlock, Carl Radle, and Jim Gordon. In very good condition, with intersecting folds and overall creasing. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original recipient, in part: "The Dominos played a small number of UK dates between August and October 1970 before going to the USA (and finally splitting up in 1971). The Bristol date was well-attended but I heard that some were disappointed that they didn't sound like Cream! No-one had really heard the Layla album then…Hendrix had died 9 days earlier which overshadowed the mood. Clapton looked pretty glum, Radle was looking old (to us) in a grandad vest, balding hair etc, and Gordon played the amazing solo on Let It Rain as per the double-LP. At the end of the gig I presented a stage-hand with the flyer and asked him to get their autographs."
