Our next Auction of the Stars is Slated For April 2013

Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Judy Garland, Humphrey Bogart: are just a few of the dazzling cast of stars soon to be appearing in our Hollywood auction this April! The event is highlighted by a single awe-inspriring item, hidden from view since its completion in 1958—Truman Capote's final Random House manuscript for Breakfast at Tiffany's, complete with hundreds of corrections in his hand. In the autograph wheelhouse, the spotlight is on several spectacular signed photographs including: Karloff as Frankenstein, Lugosi as Dracula, a gorgeous 11x14 Jean Harlow, and a brilliant James Dean as Jim Stark, the original Rebel Without a Cause. Notable props and costumes include: a set of chairs from Rick Blaine's Casablanca cafe, Clark Gable's jacket from The Misfits, stop-motion puppets from Lou Bunin Productions' Alice in Wonderland (1949), and Frankenstein originals from Strickfaden's collection. Comprised of not only autographs but also costumes, props, and original photography, set, production, and costume design—including a special section devoted to rare and remarkable Horror memorabilia—there is something for every collector to sink their teeth into.
