Desirable postal cover, 7.5 x 3.75, postmarked at the Kennedy Space Center on April 12, 1981, the launch date of the STS-1 mission, signed in ink and felt tip by 19 astronauts from NASA group nine, including: Michael J. Smith (perished aboard the STS-51-L Challenger), John Blaha, Charles Bolden, Roy Bridges, Guy Gardner, Ronald Grabe, Bryan O'Connor, Richard N. Richards, James Bagian, Franklin Chang-Diaz, Mary Cleave, Bonnie Dunbar, William Fisher, David Hilmers, David Leestma, John Lounge, Jerry Ross, Sherwood Spring, and Robert Springer. In fine condition.
