ALS signed “Edison,” one page, 5 x 8, no date. Letter to Charles W. Luhr, superintendent and works manager of Edison's lab in West Orange, New Jersey. In full: "Come up, want to show you some samples & also talk over desirability of putting at work a salvage man to fix up rejects & make them OK—we save 850 disc blanks daily in Disc Dept." Mounted and framed to an overall size of 8.5 x 10.75. In very good to fine condition, with uniform toning and minor edge loss to the lower left corner.
