Description
Color 25 x 38 poster entitled 'Exploration of Space—USA—from Mercury to the Moon,' published by Dpsce Photos in 1967, signed in various inks by 17 astronauts, including: John Young, Jack Swigert, Alan Shepard, Harrison Schmitt, Stu Roosa, Bill Pogue, Edgar Mitchell, James McDivitt, James Lovell, Jack Lousma, Fred Haise, Owen K. Garriott, Donn Eisele, Charlie Duke, Walt Cunningham, Jerry Carr, and Tony England. Mounted on a wood backing, framed, and in very good to fine condition, with fading to several of the signatures (most significantly to Schmitt and Roosa). Consignor notes that his grandfather worked for Grumman on the Apollo LEM project in the 1960s and obtained these autographs.
