Description

Massively desirable black-bodied Washburn Force 3 Stratocaster-style electric guitar with a sunburst finish, signed and inscribed on the off-white pickguard in black felt tip, "Steve, Always play it with a feeling! Stevie Ray Vaughan" and in silver ink, "From Bo Diddley, 94," and on the body in various colored ink or felt tip, "B. B. King, 8-2-93," "Eric Clapton," "Jeff Beck," "John Mayall," "Albert Collins," "Jimmie Vaughan," "Buddy Guy, 93," and "Dickey Betts." In fine condition, with light scratching to the pickguard and a few very small dings to the body, and a layer of clearcoat over Vaughan's and Clapton's signature to keep them from rubbing. Includes a hardshell George Washburn carrying case. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA. Consignor notes that Clapton and Beck signatures respectively obtained in 1998 and 1995, and that the Stevie Ray Vaughan signature was obtained at the Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh on December 3, 1986; he also notes that the slight fingerprint over Albert Collins's signature is in fact Albert's.
