Description


Original 1.75 x 3.75 ticket stub for a Beatles concert at the Rialto Theatre in York, England on November 27, 1963, marked “Second House, Stalls 8/6,” and issued as seat No. 8W. In fine condition, with a thin old tape stain to the top edge. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. During their inaugural UK tour, the Beatles played the Rialto Theatre a total of four times in 1963, first as openers for Helen Shapiro on February 27th, and then eventually as headliners on November 27th. The Rialto management was sent hundreds of autograph requests, with over 1,800 fans packed inside the auditorium and another 400 jammed outside.
