Description
Group of six ALSs from CJ Ramone, each signed "Chris" and addressed to his family in Deer Park, New York on the reverse of postcards approximately measuring 4.25 x 6.25, with each bearing stamps and postmarks indicating the Ramones tour schedule: Italy and France (1991), two from Spain (1993), and Brazil and Germany (1996). A postcard from Madrid, dated March 10, 1993, in part: "Well this is where we stayed in Cardona. It was very beautiful and has a great history. Napoleon and his forces laid siege to it but failed. Also, it is haunted by a princess who died in one of its towers." A Ramones postcard from Italy marked "1991," reads: "All is well here in Italia. Shows are going great so far. Flying to Athens Greece on Wed. the 18th. Can't wait to see the Parthenon and all those cool structures." Another postcard postmarked Bonn, Germany, in part: "Well, this will be my last postcard from Europe as a Ramone. It's the usual tour, a little fun and a lot of boredom but it's worth it. The rest of the shows are sold out. The big finish will be in London and then I'll be home for a week! Yahooo!" In overall fine condition. From the collection of bassist CJ Ramone, and accompanied by a signed letter of provenance.
