Accompanied by Roy Eldridge, Parker landed at Bromma Airport in Stockholm on November 19th, and played several concerts throughout the country during his brief yet very prestigious stay, even traveling to Copenhagen, Denmark to play a show on the 23rd. Although Parker's Swedish trip only lasted until the 28th, his abilities amazed those fortunate to attend his woefully under-advertised concerts. A variety of recordings from Parker's tour of Sweden have appeared over the years.
