Souvenir typescript for an excerpt from the book We Seven, one page, 8.5 x 1, signed at the conclusion in black felt tip by America's first man in space, Alan Shepard. In part: "I had some idea of the huge variety of color and land masses and cloud cover which I would see from 100 miles up. But no one could be briefed will enough to be completely prepared for the astonishing view that I got. My exclamation back to Deke about the 'beautiful sight' was completely spontaneous. It was breath-taking." In fine condition.
