Description
Handwritten lyrics to an apparently unpublished song by Joey Ramone. The untitled and unsigned lyrics are written on the reverse of an off-white 8.5 x 11 script page for the 1997 film Platinum. Ramone writes (with grammar and spelling retained): “I met her in club down on Avon / We had a real cool time she asked me / too stay—she had some real cool records vinyl / we had some problems I didn’t / for see / Why she takin it out on me / asked me to bed / said she always had a crush on me.” Joey has also written several notations along the bottom portion of the page. In fine condition, with some scattered small stains and punch holes to right side. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the Joey Ramone Estate.
