Description
Flown printed fabric American flag, 5.5 x 3.75, flown to the Skylab 3 space station, signed in black felt tip, “Carried on board Skylab III, Ed Gibson,” and “Jerry Carr.” Flag is affixed to an 11 x 14 color certificate stating, “Presented in appreciation of your role in the success of the Skylab Program. This flag was taken to the Workshop by the Skylab III Astronauts, November 17,1973–February 8, 1974.” The certificate is also signed by Gibson and Carr. In fine condition.
