Description


Flown Beta cloth patch carried on board the Skylab I mission in 1973. Beta cloth patch measures 3.75 x 3.75 with the NASA ‘meatball’ logo in the center. Reverse bears a strip of Velcro along the top edge to attach to various clothing. Accompanied by a handwritten letter of authenticity from Charles Conrad which reads, “This NASA Beta cloth detachable patch was moved to each jacket as we changed our clothing during the flight. It was aboard Skylab I during the period May 25th to June 22nd, 1973.” In fine condition. Also accompanied by an embroidered Skylab I mission patch. RR Auction COA.
