Web Browser Upgrade Options
What a web browser is:
- it is the software you are using to display this page.
- it enables you to "browse" the world-wide web.
What is not a web browser:
- AOL is not a web browser, though AOL includes a web browser as part of their software.
- Microsoft Windows is not a web browser, though it normally includes a web browser (Internet Explorer) as part of its installation.
How can I tell the version of the web browser I am using?
On the "Help" menu of most web browsers is an item which begins with the word "about". Choose this menu item.
Why should I upgrade?
Your web browser software is your window to the world wide web (internet). Using a better web browser will ensure a more satisfactory experience with every website you visit.
