#8020 - 1912 T202 Triple Folder PSA Graded Collection (13) with Ty Cobb and Walter Johnson Estimate: $3,000+

Very nice, mostly high-grade offering of these very difficult ‘Triple Folder’ tobacco cards. Produced in 1912 by Hassan Cigarettes, these cards include portrait images of the ballplayers on each side with an action image in the middle, with the sides hinged to make the cards foldable. While one side contains imagery, the reverse contains brief player bios plus a detailed description of the action image. These hinged areas are very susceptible to light wrinkling and creases, making high grade examples such as these very difficult to locate.

Includes: PSA NM 7 - 2 cards with Dooin/Lobert and Archer/Evers. PSA EX-MT 6 - 1 card, McGraw/Jennings. PSA EX 5 - 6 cards with Bates/Bescher, Ford/Vaughn, Walter Johnson/Street, Kling/Bridwell, Kling/Mattern, and Merkle/Doyle. PSA VG-EX 4 - 4 cards with Moriarty/Cobb, Quinn/Blair, Schulte/Sheckard, and Stovall/Austin (Ty Cobb Steals Third). Total of 13 cards, providing a solid foundation to a high grade set.
