Lovely vintage matte-finish 7 x 9.25 full-length photo of Pickford by the Hartsook Photography Studio of California, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To—Gene Palette, With prayers for a safe and victorious return, Sincerely, Mary Pickford.” In fine condition. Eugene Pallette was a prolific American actor during the fledgling days of cinema. Known for his large stomach and great, deep voice, Pallette starred in over 240 films, including My Man Godfrey, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Mark of Zorro, and The Lady Eve.
