#2207 - Frank Sinatra Test Pressing Estimate: $1,000+

Vinyl test pressing of Sinatra's classic three-disc album Trilogy: Past Present Future, released in 1980 by Reprise. Each disc is in a cardboard sleeve bearing an affixed track listing with production specifications, and all discs bear affixed Warner Bros. Records labels. In fine condition. From the collection of a former senior level executive in the music business. This famed release marked the first appearance of Sinatra's "Theme from New York, New York" (disc two, track five), which became one of his signature numbers. At the Grammy Awards of 1981, Trilogy: Past Present Future was nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and Sinatra's recording of "Theme from New York, New York" was nominated for Record of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and Song of the Year.
