#2050 - John Lennon 1975 Original WFIL Negatives Estimate: $1,000+

Rare original color 7.5 x 1.25 negative strip showing five different images of John Lennon when he was a special guest host for Philadelphian rock station WFIL's Helping Hand Marathon. In fine condition. From May 16-18, 1975, Philadelphian rock station WFIL sponsored the Helping Hand Marathon, a weekend fundraiser to raise money for multiple sclerosis. On the invite of the station's DJ Larry Kane, Lennon spent the entire three days answering phones, taking pledges, and meeting fans; he even did the weather report for Kane's broadcast on WPVI-TV.
