Rare gilt badge issued to a member of the ‘International Olympic Committee’ for the Lake Placid 1932 Winter Olympics, 36 mm, 17 gm, featuring enameled Olympic rings at center with "IOC" inscribed in a black tablet below, encircled by raised text, "III Olympic Winter Games, Lake Placid, 1932." The reverse is stamped "16" and marked "Robbins Co., Attleboro," and retains its screw-back closure. A stunning example that remains in superb condition, a trait only surpassed by its immense rarity—only 20 of these IOC badges made, making it one of the rarest Winter Olympic badges of all time.
