Artist and illustrator of children's books (1882-1955). Scarce original artwork accomplished in pencil and watercolor on an off-white 8.25 x 4 sheet, signed on the reverse in pencil by Willy Pogany. The intriguing artwork shows two silhouetted figures at center, with industrial-age machinery arcing above. Reverse is also stamp-dated July 28, 1930, by the United Scenic Artists Local 829. Matted to an overall size of 11.5 x 7.5. In fine condition, with light soiling to the back.
