Lithograph suite entitled “Ernie Barnes Presents A Portfolio of Football Art,” published by the Company of Sports and containing five lithographs of football-related drawings by the NFL player-turned-professional artist. The original presentation folder, 13 x 18.25, is signed and inscribed inside on the bottom flap in ballpoint, “To Pete, with my best wishes, Ernie Barnes,” as is the very first plate in the portfolio, “Best wishes to Pete, Ernie Barnes.” The plates are entitled ‘The Bomb,’ ‘Two Linemen,’ ‘The Pulling Guards,’ ‘The Hand-Off,’ and ‘To Know Defeat.’ In overall very good to fine condition, with partial separations to the edges of the presentation folder.
