Vintage program for a Beatles concert at the Futurist Theatre in Scarborough, England, on August 9, 1964, eight pages, 8 x 10.25, signed on the back cover in black ballpoint by Paul McCartney. In very good condition, with handling wear, and heavy intersecting folds. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the stepdaughter of the original recipient: “The enclosed programme signed by Paul McCartney was obtained by my step-father Lawrence Murphy when he was a special police constable at the Futurist Theatre in Scarborough in 1963 (sic) when the Beatles appeared in a sellout concert.”
