English high-speed racer (1921-1967) who broke eight absolute world speed records on water and on land in the 1950s and 1960s, and remains the only person to set both world land and water speed records in the same year (1964). He died in an accident during a water speed record attempt in his Bluebird K7 hydroplane. Uncommon vintage glossy 5.5 x 3.5 postcard photo of Campbell's Bluebird K7 jet-powered hydroplane, signed in fountain pen, "With all best wishes, Donald Campbell." In fine condition.
