Vintage textured matte-finish 8 x 10 full-length portrait of Simmons in his Chicago White Sox uniform by noted baseball photographer George Burke, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To my friend Harry, one of the greatest quick baserunners in the game. Best Wishes, Al Simmons, Athletics 1941.” Reverse bears a partial George Burke credit stamp, affected by some surface loss. In very good to fine condition, with the inscription a few shades light, and several creases and surface cracks along the right edge.
