Handwritten letter to his close friend and business partner John Nicholson, regarding the purchase of flour for the North American Land Company, in full: "I wish you would send me an acct (exact) of the flour shipped by your order with the cost of charges that I may include the contract for flour in the settlement of amounts." In fine condition, with light soiling.
