Large and desirable ballpoint signature, "Martin Luther King,” on an off-white 5.25 x 4.5 album page, annotated along the top by the collector: "23 October 1964 - Olivet Institutional Baptist Church." In very fine condition. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as "NM-MT 8." One week after receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, Martin Luther King, Jr., visited Cleveland on March 23, 1964, for a 'march on the ballot box' to encourage participation in the upcoming elections. He appeared at five street-corner rallies, visited two schools, and spoke at Olivet Institutional Church, one of the largest African American congregations in Cleveland.
