The cels have been neatly trimmed and placed on a brilliant hand-painted super panoramic master background of Lady's backyard and the surrounding neighborhood, which is partially attributed to Eyvind Earle, a background painter for the film, whose presence is readily apparent in the flora and landscape. Character images measure 3.25 x 3.75 (Lady) and 3.75 x 5 (Tramp), with a mat opening of 41.75 x 7.5. Double-matted to an overall size of 48 x 14. In fine condition, with a small area of lifting paint to Lady's ear, and a few trivial marks to the mat. One of the most impressive Lady and the Tramp production master background set-ups that we have ever seen.
