Letter to Belle, in part: "There is to be a meeting of the friends of Abbie Farwell Brown, under the auspices of the Boston Authors Club, at the Republican Club, 46 Beacon Street, on Friday April 29th at half past four. I had hoped to go, but the hall selected involves a flight of stairs and I can't get my doctor's consent. The next time you are in Boston, come to see me! I am accessible after three o'clock, unless I am out dining. Better telephone in advance." In fine condition, with a few light stains to the first page.
