For his role in the historic Camp David Peace Agreement, he shared the 1978 Nobel Peace Prize with Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin. Matte-finish 7 x 9.5 three-quarter-length portrait of President Anwar Sadat in a handsome suit and tie, inscribed in black ink to "Rev. John Sexton, Best wishes,” and signed in both English and Arabic. In very good to fine condition, with a few creases, and two paperclip impressions to the top edge. Accompanied by the original transmittal letter dated May 22, 1977, and mailing envelope.
