Two original issues of Time Magazine featuring Mohandas Gandhi on the cover: an issue of Time from January 5, 1931 (Vol. XVII, No. 1), 8.5 x 11.5, 48 pages, featuring Gandhi as 'Man of the Year'; and an issue of Time from June 30, 1947 (Vol. XLIX, No. 26), 8.25 x 11.25, 104 pages, with a story on Gandhi's leadership in Indian politics. In overall good to very good condition, with ex-library stamps, partial splitting to the spine, and some tiny tears and toning to edges of the 1931 magazine, and moderate dampstaining and surface scuffing to the 1947 magazine.
