He left the Beatles to pursue his career as an artist before they achieved their success, and died not long afterwards from a brain hemorrhage. Original unsigned ink sketches of sitting human figures on a city street and sketches of a sneaker, a woman apparently begging for mercy from a whip-bearing task master and a human figure poking in a trash can on both sides of an off-white 8 x 10.5 sheet from one of Sutcliffe’s art school notebooks. Four separate images in all. In fine condition.
