Color 6 x 4 postcard photo of the Obertauern ski area in Austria, signed on the reverse in blue ballpoint, “Ringo Starr,” “George Harrison,” and “John Lennon,” and in red felt tip, “Paul McCartney.” Consignor states that while on vacation in Obertauern with a youth group, he stayed in a hostel. The son of the hostel manager, and also the group leader, had acted as a ski double for the Beatles during the filming of Help!, showing photographs of himself on the set. He mentioned that he acquired several autographs of the Fab Four, and finally parted with a set of the signatures after substantial pestering. In fine condition, with some scattered small edge creases and impressions and a few dings to the image side; the signature side is very clean.
