Lot of approximately twenty items signed by Whittle, including ALSs, Christmas cards, cards with printed historical information, postal covers (each also including at least one pilot’s signature), souvenir typescripts, and a copy of a book titled The Jet Age: Forty Years of Jet Aviation. Some of the correspondence is also signed by Whittle’s wife, Tommie, and a few notes and letters in Tommie’s hand are also included. In fine condition, with usual light handling and postage wear to some items. R&R COA.
