American columnist and host of The Ed Sullivan Show from 1948 to 1971. Vintage pearl-finish 8 x 10 portrait of the very young Sullivan, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Mush, Best, Ed Sullivan, Sept. 6, 1937.” According to the collector’s notations on the reverse, the signature was obtained at the Loew’s State stage door. In fine condition, with faint surface impressions and a couple of mild corner bends. R&R COA.
