Description

Dali signs an agreement to lend one of his paintings with his scarce full signature

DS, signed “Salvador Dali,” one page, 8.5 x 11, January 5, 1965. A loan agreement with the Gallery of Modern Art/Huntington Hartford collection, in which the artist agrees to lend his “Chimere passant a travers une Clef,” valued at $15,000. Full Dali signatures are quite elusive, as the artist typically signed only his last name, even to his own artworks. In fine condition, with small PSA/DNA label affixed to reverse, staple holes, and a hint of toning to edges. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA and. R&R COA.
