Writer who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1922 for his autobiographical volume A Daughter of the Middle Border. Lot of two ALS and two TLS, each one page, various sizes, circa 1930s. Garland writes to a Mr. Prussing on a number of matters, including requests to meet with him and the incorporation of the Taft Museum. In fine condition, with mild toning and wrinkling, usual mailing folds, a few ink and pencil dockets. R&R COA.
