Vintage glossy 10 x 8 composite promotional photo of Lahr depicts him as the Cowardly Lion in 1939 and as he appeared in The Philco Television Playhouse episode:"Burlesque.” The text beneath the image of Lahr as a clown reads, “Lahr in Burlesque, which marked transition from clown to dramatic actor.” The photo is signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint “To ‘Jack,’ Best Wishes, Bert Lahr.” In very good condition, with scattered surface impressions and creasing, corner creases, a couple of small separations in the borders.
